Art Way Alliance is a non-profit organization that teaches children how to make comic books, manga, and animation in an accepting and encouraging environment. Students learn basic drawing, character and environment design, story boarding/sequential art, character development, etc. from established independent and mainstream artists in the industry.
AWA accomplishes this mission through events, classes, comic book conventions and partnerships with for-profit and non-profit companies. AWA currently partners with multiple non-profits and schools to offer after school and summer programs.
